Insurance Coverage

I am an in-network provider for several major insurers.  I encourage patients to check their individual policy to see if acupuncture is covered.  I recommend that you call your insurance company and ask the following questions:

• Does my insurance policy cover acupuncture treatment? If yes, does it cover in-network and out-of-network acupuncturists?
• What is the copay for an acupuncture treatment for in-network and out-of-network?
• Are there limits on number of treatments in a year?
• Is coverage limited to certain medical conditions?
• Do I have to meet a deductible and how much of my deductible remains at this time?

 If you would like assistance determining coverage, please contact me and I will gladly call your insurance company and check your benefits.    

Acupuncture is eligible for coverage under Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA).  Some insurance also offers a discount as a wellness benefit.  Ask your insurance company to find out.

Cancellation Policy

Please give at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to make your scheduled acupuncture appointment.  Any cancellation made with less than 24 hours notice requires payment in full.  Also, please note that we reserve the right to end your appointment at the scheduled time should you arrive late.
